Repolling in 11 polling stations of five assembly constituencies in the state began on Monday amid tight security.

The repolling, for the 11 booths which went to polls which went to polls during the first phase of elctrions on February 8, began at around 7.00 am, officials said.

Repolling was ordered after complaints of proxy voting and clashes among supporters of different candidates on the election day.
The polling would end at 3.30 pm.
The second phase of Manipur assembly polls would be held on February 14 and the third and final phase on February 23, sources said.
