After working as a financial journalist in Mexico City, Singapore, London, New York and Delhi, where she currently lives. Journalist-turned-author Anita Jain came up with this book named Marrying Anita: A Quest for Love in the New India.

The book Marrying Anita: A Quest for Love in the New India is her journey from New York city (where she apparently gets frustrated with commitment phobic people) to New Delhi to find a husband.

It is the reverse journey her father had taken more than three decades earlier, when he left his homeland for America in search of better job opportunities. Anita, on the other hand, comes back to India for what she hopes would have better dating opportunities.

Marrying Anita is a book, which is not only about her encounters with the suitable grooms, but also about the modern India; its ambitious youngsters, booming economy and changing mindset of people living in Delhi, where she discovers youngsters like her who live life on their own terms.

Marrying Anita… has Anita’s memoir compiled very delicately, being of a chick-lit genre it has that spice but at the same time it shows the changing face of India.
