“Kya Kare Mamu?” actor Sanjay Dutt asked the cheering crowd at the Samajwadi Party (SP) rally in Modinagar on Sunday.
In a short visit to the Jat land of Western UP, Dutt and SP’s Amar Singh fired salvos at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Lok Dal alliance and also took on arch rival Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in true Bollywood style.
Amar Singh criticised RLD leader Ajit Singh for his “love for the chair” and for “party hopping”.
Blasting the BJP and BSP, he said, “The lotus (BJP symbol) and elephant (BSP symbol) have become synonymous. Vajpayee and Mayawati accepted each other by saying Kabool Kabool Kabool and are still carrying on their brother and sister relationship.”
“The elephant has gone berserk after amassing wealth by selling election tickets. It is a party of goons and killing people to extract money,” Singh said.
While Singh targeted the BSP, BJP in a straightforward manner, Munnabhai Sanjay Dutt, who has recently joined the SP, attracted large crowds by reciting dialogues from his movie Munnabhai MBBS.
During his 10 minutes address, Dutt showered public with his film dialogues.
“Do you want to pet the elephant? It’s a rich man’s hobby, not yours. So try cycle (SP symbol) this time and ride to Delhi,” Dutt said.
