Shoaib was on Friday quoted by former captain Rashid Latif as having complained about the field placements by Inzamam who dubbed such comments as "very unprofessional" and threatened disciplinary action against the 'Rawalpindi Express'.

"Action will be taken against him. Such things affect the morale of the team," Inzamam told reporters after India clinched a historic Test series triumph over Pakistan, winning the decider by an innings and 131 runs.

Shoaib reportedly told Latif over telephone that Inzamam was not giving him the right field placements in the series. The matter came to light in a television programme after the second day's play.

Inzamam said he had no differences with his strike bowler but such remarks were adversely affecting the morale of the team. "It is not a professional thing to do."
