'Rivals' Rakhshanda, Mona are pals!

Making rare appearances in the party circuit, the ladies who played rivals on the sets of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi -- Mona Singh and Rak shanda Khan -- are indeed great party buddies.

Though Rakshanda is not that a party animal, all she enjoys is going for movies with friends Geeta Kapoor, Gauri and Hiten Tejwani. But when it comes to party invites both Rakshanda and Mona Singh have tough time sorting out the must attend social dos.

"Mona stays two buildings away from mine. So whenever we have to attend any party, we coordinate with each other. By `must attend', I actually mean those parties, thrown by the nearest and dearest of our friends.

'What to wear' is always a question that we throw on to each other at pre party phone calls. Jumping in and out of the various costumes throughout the day, refrains us from any special dressing up for the party, and we usually land up wearing jeans and a tee shirt. Parties are a great way to catch up with each other's life. Most of the time, we can be found in a corner, jabbering throughout the evening when we have been out of touch for a bit.
