Roddick enters 3rd round in straight sets

Roddick downed Gicquel, 6-3, 7-6 (7/4), 6-4 and will play either Russia's Marat Safin or Israeli Dudi Sela in the next round of Australian Open.

American sixth seed Andy Roddick beat Frenchman Marc Gicquel in straight sets to reach the third round of the Australian Open here today.
