Besides, Marhi, the halting point between Manali and Rohtang Pass, and Rahni Nallah are reported to have recorded 2 inches of snow. Obviously, the rain and fresh snowfall on the higher reaches have resulted in a considerable fall in the mercury.

Keeping in view the fresh snowfall at Rohtang Pass, Rahni Nallah and Marhi, the tourists were not allowed to proceed beyond the Beas Nallah point on Sunday so that they were not stuck in snow. Tourists and local residents in Manali were again seen wearing woolens.
