Television actor Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor have been signed for Anurag Kashyap's next, to be directed by Vikram Motwani.

Anurag says, "Udaan is ready to go on the floors. The script needs freshness and I have been a huge fan of Ram since Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, and Ronit and I stay at the same building," he explains how he came about to cast this unique team.

Ram has also signed Khalid Mohamed's next which begins in October and will also be seen in Karthik Calling Karthik with Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone. The actor who was first seen in Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding.

Ram Kapoor will also be hosting Rakhi Sawant's reality show Swayamvar.
