Ever heard or eaten samosas costing Rs 2,500 a piece? On Friday, two Dutch tourists paid Rs 10,000 for four samosas. In Sonepur to attend the cattle fair, the two approached a food stall for snacks. The young shopkeeper told them his samosas were special: made of herbs and potato — and had aphrodisiac qualities.

After the couple ate their samosas, the shopkeeper asked them to pay Rs 10,000. The tourists had to shell out the money after an argument. While returning, they narrated their experience to a special police officer. Following the police’s intervention, the shopkeeper returned Rs 9,990.
