With the execution of this project, security of Ralamandal Sanctuary would be beefed up, as strength of the chain would increase manifold. The proposal of this project was prepared through Forest Conservator Rajesh Shrivastava and sent to Eco Tourism Board (Bhopal) earlier.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Shrivastava said that Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) Wildlife P B Gangopadhyay and additional PCCF H S Pabla visited Ralamandal Sanctuary on November 22. They recommended that proposal for construction of new chain link fence and for repair of existing fence should be prepared and sent to Eco Tourism Board (Bhopal).

Shrivastava said that the fencing work would be started soon. He informed that once the project was completed, security of Ralamandal Sanctuary would be increased. He added that the adjoining Devguradia hill would also be fenced and its security would be ensured as a result of this.

Shrivastava clarified that the project was meant for strengthening of the fence at those places where it is weak. However, the height of the fence would not increase. It would remain at eight feet, he said.
