RSS agenda "too comprehensive" for any party's vision: BJP

BJP said RSS was a social organisation whose agenda of social transformation of India was "too comprehensive" to be incorporated in the vision of any political party.

Refuting the charge that "Vision-2004" document was a broad reflection of the RSS agenda, the BJP on Wednesday said RSS was a social organisation whose agenda of social transformation of India was "too comprehensive" to be incorporated in the vision of any political party.

"RSS was the biggest social organisation which was working for the transformation of the entire country while the BJP was a political party with clear political motives," BJP Vice-President Bal Apte said at a press conference here.

He said that BJP had neither dumped nor softened its stand on contentious issues like Article 370, Common Civil Code and Ram Temple but other political parties must come clear about their stand on them before questioning the bonafides of the BJP.
