DIVISIONAL COMMISSIONER RK Mittal says the final report on the proposed City Development Plan (CDP) will be submitted to the State Government on July 31.

And he called upon various government departments, voluntary organisations and citizen forums to submit their suggestions and proposals to the additional municipal commissioner by June 15 so that relevant suggestions and proposals could be incorporated in the report before it was finalised.

Mittal held a meeting-cum-workshop regarding the proposed City Development Plan. He directed officers that the proposal to bring in Hazratganj in Heritage Zone should be included in the report.

The workshop discussed water supply, sewage, sanitation, traffic, parking, flyovers and some other points for the City Development Plan. This City Development Plan is being developed as it is a prerequisite to get grants under Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission.

The workshop was attended by various government department officials, including civic bodies officers, some people’s representatives, traders’ representatives etc.
