Rustam takes over as Minorities Finance Corpn chief

MINISTER FOR Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare, Rustam Singh took over as Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes and Minorities Finance and Development Corporation here today.

After assuming office, chairman Rustam Singh said it would be his endeavour that maximum economically weaker people belonging to backward and minority communities are provided assistance under the various schemes and projects of the Corporation.

He said he would see to it that needy people of these classes strengthen their economic condition by setting up of their own trades and ventures with financial assistance from the Corporation. Singh further said proposal for increasing the fund provided by the Central Government to help these sections set up their self-employment, would be sent to the Centre.

Loan assistance is provided through the Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes and Minorities Finance and Development Corporation to the people belonging to backward and minorities communities for their economic, social and academic development.

This loan is provided for various activities including agriculture, handicrafts, conventional trades, technical business, small
trades, transport business etc.
