A day before the Shiv Sena’s crucial meet of party leaders to decide the strategy for the ensuing elections, the Shiv Sena lambasted senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde for offering “free counseling” to Sena for not getting too close to Sharad Pawar-led NCP.

On Tuesday, Thackeray had refused to see BJP president LK Advani during his Mumbai visit in the backdrop of reports of Sena’s growing closeness to the NCP. “There is no dearth of politicians who offer free counselling in Maharashtra.
Our friend Munde too has counselled us not to get too close to Sharad Pawar who is practicing pressure tactics when electoral adjustments are being discussed,” an editorial in the party mouthpiece Saamna said.
