With the election fever hotting up in Gujarat, political parties have now enlisted sports personality lookalikes besides bigwigs and Bollywood stars for their campaign for the December 12 assembly polls.
Cricketing hero Sachin Tendulkar's lookalike Bulbir Singh has been brought to Gujarat from the remote village of Shelon in Punjab to help boost the prospects of Congress candidates contesting the elections.
Singh, attired in a terrywool dark colour sports suit with silver framed glasses like those worn by Sachin, is here to garner votes for the Congress.
Dream girl Hema Malini and film stalwarts including Sunil Dutt and Vinod Khanna have already addressed public meetings in various areas. The "duplicate sports stars" are now also expected to address rallies.
