The ruling Samajwadi Party on Wednesday inducted two BSP Lok Sabha members-Rama Kant Yadav (Azamgarh), Bhalchand Yadav (Khalilabad) and two BSP MLAs Kuldip Singh Sengar (Unnao) and Kapil Deo Singh Yadav (Mau) who were recently sacked by the Mayawati for anti-party activities.
Talking to newsmen on Wednesday the PWD Minister and SP general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav said entry of these leaders would strengthen the party. While the Samajwadi Party had expelled Rama Kant Yadav in 2002, the then chief minister Mayawati had inducted him into the party in November 27, 2002. Rama Kant Yadav was one of the main accused in Guesthouse case in June 2, 1995 in which SP leaders had made murderous attack on Mayawati. Last week BSP general secretary Nasimuddin Sidiqque announced expulsion of Ramkant from the party. The BSP had sacked Bhalchand Yadav, Kuldip Sengar and Kapil Deo Singh nearly a month ago. Earlier nearly half a dozen BJP MLAs had joined the SP. Sengar had also been hobnobbing with the SP for a long time.
Bhalchand Yadav assailing Mayawati claimed that BSP had been fast losing ground in the state. He said in eastern UP the BSP would be routed in the assembly election. Kapil Deo said that people with vested interest had surrounded Mayawati and the party had completely lost direction. Deo accused her of collecting money in the name of party tickets.

{{/usCountry}}Shiv Pal said more BSP MPs and MLAs would join the party soon. Shiv Pal said the party today reviewed the electoral performance in local bodies elections. Expressing satisfaction over results Yadav said the meeting has also chalked out plan to further gear up the party for assembly elections. He said five training camps would be organized at various places to train the party cadres for the elections. Referring to sudden power crisis following closure of all units of Annapara thermal power, Shiv Pal, who is also the energy minister, said efforts were being to solve the problem. Yadav said he had sought detailed report about the closure of the units.
