England fast bowler James Anderson has been ruled out of the second Test against New Zealand, which starts on Thursday, because of a bruised left heel.
The Lancashire paceman is replaced in the squad by Kent's Martin Saggers for the Headingley match, the England and Wales Cricket Board announced in a statement.

Saggers has one Test cap, taking three wickets on his debut in the second Test against Bangladesh at Chittagong last year.
England won the first Test of three against New Zealand at Lord's by seven wickets.
