Shah Alam, an associate of gangster Abu Salem, was arrested by Mumbai police on Thursday in connection with Ajit Dewani murder case.
Dewani, secretary to Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, was murdered in 2001, police said, adding that Alam's name was not in the original chargesheet.

Salem, deported from Portugal last year, is now in Mumbai crime branch custody.
