The final judgement in one of the two Chinkara poaching cases allegedly involving Salman Khan and Satish Shah is expected during the next hearing at a Jodhpur court on February 17, according to the public prosecutor.
Salman's petition filed by his counsel Hastimal Sarswat for exemption was on Friday granted on medical grounds by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate BK Jain, public prosecutor Jeevan Ram Choudhary said.
The final arguments on behalf of the remaining two accused of hunting the endangered species of deer in Bhavad village village of Jodhpur district on October 11, 1998 were also made in the court, Choudhary told from Jodhpur.
The advocate of Mahendra Singh and Yashpal Singh presented arguments on behalf of the two accused, he added.
The defence evidence in the second Chinkara poaching, reported in Ghoda farms on October 11, would be produced in the CJM's court on February 27, he said.
The two actors and four others were booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, by Jodhpur police in Mathania police station for hunting the endangered species of deer in Ghoda and Bhawad farms.
