Amidst reports that third front is taking a line akin to Left parties on the Indo-US nuclear deal, top Samajwadi leaders on Thursday met CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat in New Delhi

The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav along with Amar Singh had a fifteen minute meeting with Karat at CPI-M headquarters in New Delhi this morning.
Karat along with Sitaram Yechury and other left leaders on Tuesday had a meeting with UNPA convenor and Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu on the contentious issue of Indo-US Nuclear deal.
Yadav, who is also a member of the UNPA is also expected to meet CPI leader AB Bardhan and D Raja.
