Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza's reception was a grand affair, which was graced by Bollywood stars, Pakistan delegates, corporate biggies, and sport stars.

The reception was held at the luxurious Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad, with Sania decked up in bridal finery and Shoaib dressed in an off-white sherwani. The guests had a good time enjoying the food and intermingling with an eclectic set of people. Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia was one of the stars from tinsel town to attend the reception. She tweeted: "Jus finished with sania n shoaib's reception, I indulged in some fantastic hyderabadi cuisine n some great conversations, great mix!"

Sania received the royal treatment from Pakistani delegates. The bride was presented with a gold tiara as a special gift from the people of Sialkot, her husband Shoaib Malik's hometown.

"We have come to congratulate Sania and Shoaib on behalf of the people of Sialkot and Pakistan. We are presenting this crown to Sania. This crown symbolises the love, affection and respect of the people of Sialkot and Pakistan," she told reporters.
