And now his dream is to make the Indian cuisine win top slot in the world cuisine chart.

"Indian cuisine is gaining more and more ground in the international culinary arena. Already it is considered as the Number 2 cuisine - Chinese being at the top. But I am confident that very soon it will be at the top of the charts", says Kapoor, the winner of the Best Executive Chef of India award by H & FS magazine.

"It has always been my dream to make Indian cuisine No 1 in the world and I am working towards it", he says.

The master chef who has made the art of cooking easy for all, however, does concede woman's superiority when it comes to know the art of cooking. "I personally believe that women are by far better cooks", he quips.

"Agreed, cooking is absolutely a woman's domain but it can be anyone's passion. If you study the culinary history of the wolrd carefully, you will find several examples where men too have been responsible for creating some of the most brilliant and exotic dishes. In the commercial arena too men as chefs are more popular", he says. Perhaps it is the long working hours that keep women stay away from this profession, he feels.
