Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who has been undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction, continues to be critical but stable, doctors attending on him said on Saturday.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who has been undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction, continues to be critical but stable, doctors attending on him said on Saturday.

"Sri Sathya Sai Baba continues to be in the same stable condition of health as yesterday.All his vital parameters continue to be nearly normal," a health bulletin issued by A N Safaya, director of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences here, said.

"The panel of doctors treating him are satisfied with the response, although slow, shown by him to the treatment. They are satisfied with the stability of the parameters and other indices of his health," it said.

"He continues to be on assisted ventilation and CRRT (slow long period dialysis) and is being constantly monitored and watched round-the-clock. He continues to be in a critical state of health," the bulletin added.

86-year-old Sathya Sai Baba was admitted to the hospital on March 28 following problems related to heart and respiration.
