SBI employees stage demonstrations

STATE BANK of India Workmen Union, Bhopal circle, organised demonstrations at the bank?s local headquarters and regional office to press for its 21-point charter of demands here on Friday. Union general secretary Pramod Naramdeo led the agitation.

Addressing the employees, Naramdeo said if the management continued to ignore the Union’s demands, second phase of the agitation would be launched soon.

Prominent bank union leaders who took part in the demonstrations included Workmen Union president G C Jaiswal, senior vice-president A N Banerjee, Arvind Bilgaiyan and Hamidullah Khan.
