THE 19th Triennial general body meeting of SBI Officers’ Association, Bhopal Circle and 25th Annual general meeting of SBI Officers’ Cooperative Credit Society organised in the City today.
Various national leaders of AISBOF and over 2,000 bank employees from across MP and Chhattisgarh participated in the function. SBI CGM S Bhattacharya, president AISBOF Amar Pal and general secretary AISBOF Shantha Raju were the chief guests of the inaugural session. The session started with a lighting of the lamp. General Secretary (Bhopal circle) Ravi Bilgaiyan welcomed all the dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering Bhattacharya appreciated the employees for scaling new heights. He called upon them to work more and more in the social work. Speaking on the occasion, Amar Pal lauded the efforts of the Bhopal circle and thanked the office bearers for their warm welcome.
In his address, Shantha Raju highlighted the achievements of the association. He said a token strike would be organised under the aegis of United Forum of Bank Unions on March 9 in support of their demand for appointments on compassionate grounds and pension.
