Supreme Court has rejected activist Teesta Setalvad’s plea for an urgent hearing of her application seeking the original CDs and transcripts of the sting operation by Tehelka showing alleged involvement of some lower rung VHP and BJP functionaries in the 2002 post-Godhra riots in Gujarat.

The application was in connection with a petition seeking transfer of 13 cases related to Godhra mass arson pending before the Supreme Court since November 2003.
