A Bench headed by Justice BN Aggarwal rejected the petition after holding that the apex court cannot monitor the proceedings of the case on a day-to-day basis as the matter was already being investigated by the authorities concerned.
The petition was filed on one Akhil Bharatiya dalit Mahila Evam Samaj Sudhar Samiti.
