The idea of introducing sandalwood scented postage stamps won’t click with the e–generation at all.

Rs 15 for a stamp is too much. In any case, the youth of today prefer to communicate via sms and e–mails, than through letters.

Writing letters has become a thing of the past for them now . Not wishing to be too rude to the postal department I would like to say that we can’t rely upon them . This department is responsible for the death of the art of writing letters or sending cards on birthdays , anniversaries or festivals .

It can no longer be trusted now , what with late or non delivery of precious & important documents . More over today’s generation is too hard pressed for time to write long letters . Scented or ordinary stamps , the gen today , can’t be tempted in any way to write letters.
