School boy killed, 40 hurt as bus falls into river

A school boy was killed and 40 others were injured, seven of them seriously, when a school bus fell into Kukurnahiya river in Bihar's Kaimur district today.

A school boy was killed and 40 others were injured, seven of them seriously, when a school bus fell into Kukurnahiya river in Bihar's Kaimur district on Monday.

Kaimur Superintendent of Police PK Srivastava said the bus fell into the river when the driver lost control over it while overtaking a truck.

Pranjal Kumar died on the spot, he said, adding the seven seriously injured were rushed to the government hospital in Bhabhua.
