The school meanwhile has already expelled the three students involved in the incident. The police on Tuesday registered FIRs against the three students and two staffers in connection with the case.

Adarsh, the 14-year-old student, son of a Bihar minister, was found in a semi-conscious state in his hostel room on August 20.

The district collector P Narhari ordered a probe. The district police carried out a parallel inquiry and recorded the statements of the three boys. “After recording statements of the three senior boys, we found out that Adarsh attempted suicide as the trio used to harass him by asking him to do menial jobs,” the police had said in a statement.
