Second batch to leave today

THE SECOND batch of Madhya Pradesh contingent for the 33rd National Games scheduled between February 9 and 18 in Guwahati could not leave on Saturday as the Assam-bound train was running 15 hours late. The team later decided to leave for Guwahati from Itarsi on Sunday morning by Guwahati Express.

The first batch of the MP contingent has already left on February 3 for the National Games. The third batch will leave on February 11 along with officials.

In these batches, karate, basketball, handball and triathlons sportspersons have been included.
