Their movements have set off alarm bells for the security agencies, but the group with their set of stories is demanding support for the people belonging to their community. In fact, they have been able to fan passion in sensitive Faithfulgunj and Shujatgunj areas of the city.

The members of the group, all in their late thirties, started meeting influential people. And, it was through these influential people that their stories are percolating down to the grass-root level.

They are ridiculing the Mumbai police for targeting a particular community for the blast, especially after the name of Majid Ansari cropped up in the blast-related probe. They are telling the tales of the treatment being meted out to a particular community in Aurangabad and Malegaon.

However, another outfit of community member, which is restricted to Uttar Pradesh only, was neither approached nor taken into confidence, sources said.

The door-to-door campaign has whipped up amongst the members of a particular community which plans to launch a movement soon.
