On Monday, Hindustan Times team left some bags abandoned at various locations. But the bags remained unnoticed for hours by the security personnel as well as the common man.

Those who noticed chose not to report to the police.

The Mini Secretariat building, which houses several government offices, was one of the locations where the mock drill was conducted. But on Tuesday, no security guard was found at the site.

On the other hand, authorities of some shopping centres responded promptly and took several measures to beef up security.

The authority of MGF Mall has asked its security agency to deploy better trained guards.

“The demand of guards is more in Gurgaon and security agencies are not able to fulfill the demand. I have changed two security agencies in the last two years and still not satisfied. I am aware of the reasons and a lot needs to be done,” said PS Puri, vice-president of MGF Mall.
