Security forces gun down two terrorists in J&K

Security forces on Thursday gunned down two terrorists during an encounter in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said in Jammu.

The encounter, which started last night, continued this morning at Madhari, seven kilometres away from Poonch, he said, adding both the terrorists were gunned down between 8:30 am to 9:00 am on Thursday.

Two AK rifles and some ammunition have been recovered from the slain terrorists, whose identity is being ascertained, he said. Search operations in the area were continuing, the spokesman said.
