EMINENT RELIGIOUS leader and Peethadheeshwar of Dharma Sangh, Swami Shanker Dev Chaitanya Brahmchari criticised Mufti-e-Shehar Maulana Abdul Batin Nomani over his reported comment on sensitive Gyanwapi Complex here on Saturday.
Religious leaders had demanded the administration to hand over the disputed Gyanwapi Complex (housing a mosque) to the Hindu community at a saints’ conclave at Dharm Sangh Shiksha Mandal in Durga Kund, recently.
Later, Mufti-e-Shehar had criticised the demand.
Shanker Dev Brahmchari and Secretary of Dharma Sangh Shiksha Mandal, Jagjeetan Pandey said that Hindus were peace-loving but it should not be taken otherwise. Jagjeetan “the mosque at Gyanwapi Complex is a forceful encroachment over Hindu property and demanding our right is not a crime,” Pandey said.
