According to selection panel chairman Kiran More, the 15-member team will be announced after the Mohali ODI on October 28. While the third match is scheduled to be played at Jaipur on October 31, Pune and Ahmedabad will host the next two games November 3 and 6.

Earlier, the selection committe had named 15 players for the first two of the seven-match ODI series against Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid after Sourav Ganguly reported unfit and opted out of the Challenger Trophy in Mohali.

With Ganguly making a comeback by successfully leading the East Zone in the Duleep trophy against the North with a fine individual performance in Rajkot, he was likely to be considered for selection in Team India at the Mohali meeting.
