They also raised slogans against Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi for his alleged role in the Bhiwandi riots.
Leader of Opposition Ramdas Kadam and BJP's party leader in the Assembly Gopinath Munde led the demonstration.
The legislators demanded that the Maharashtra government prosecute Azmi under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
They also demanded construction of the police outpost in Bhiwandi, riots over which last week left four, including two policemen, dead.
