Shiv Sena on Monday announced candidature of former NCP leader Vijay Chougule from its stronghold Thane, while declaring sitting MP Anand Paranjpe as its nominee from Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency.

The names were declared by Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe told PTI.
Under a seat-sharing accord with old ally BJP, the Sena is contesting 22 of the 48 seats in Maharashtra. BJP is contesting the remaining 26 seats.
