Senior M'rashtra Cong leader Kawade dead

He had also held charge as DCC president and was also associated with Nasik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj.

Senior Congress leader and former MP from Nasik, Bhanudas Ramchandra alias Annasaheb Kawade died on Friday evening due to old age, family sources said.
He was 81.

Kawade served as the Zilla Parishad President between 1962 and 1967 and also got elected from Nasik Lok Sabha constituency twice between 1967 and 1977.

He had also held charge as President of District Congress Committee and was also associated with Nasik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, a leading educational institute.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
