A woman in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district was fired at by separatist guerrillas on Wednesday after which she succumbed to her injuries.
Militants entered a house in Noorpora (Tral) village of Pulwama district in the evening and fired from close range at Hameeda Begum, wife of Gulam Hassan, a police officer told IANS.

The woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition with multiple bullet wounds and died of her injuries, police said.
