Seven persons including four women and a child were killed when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Kanjeekodu railway station junction early Sunday morning.

According to police, the victims belonged to Madurai in Tamil Nadu.
A 22-year-old person injured in the accident was admitted to the District Hospital here.
