COIMBATORE-BASED Sharp Tools Group on Saturday launched new generation water pumps range in the City. Branded ‘master water pumps’, the range will cater to the needs of different segments like industry, agriculture and domestic consumers.
The range includes mini monoblock self priming, non-self priming, centrifugal, jet, monoblock, shallow well jet pump, open well submersible, pressure booster pump and automatic water pump.
Master Marketing Associates (Coimbatore) CEO K R Pandiyan said that the whole range is fully automatic — it shuts down or starts the pump depending on the water level in the overhead tank and underground water level.
A special waterproof float switch has been installed after six years of field testing for this purpose. “This will save on power bills, keep pump maintenance to minimum and prevent water wastage,” he added.
Master Marketing Associates is a unit of Sharp Tools Group. Other features include thermal overload protector, stainless steel shaft, SKF Double sealed bearing coated with polyurethane surface coating.
