Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who is a jury member at this year’s Cannes festival, has signed up to direct two of the 10 segments of Love Berlin – How We Met, along with Neil LaBute. The omnibus feature set in the German capital will see 10 stories, each focussing on a couple falling in or out of love, according to The Hollywood Reporter website. The shooting is set to start this summer and The Messenger director Oren Moverman is also said to be directing an episode.
Kapur is hoping to find a solution to the global water shortage problem through his next venture Paani, a love story starring Hrithik Roshan that changes minds and methods and will dramatise how water shortage can affect relationships, cities, states and nations.
