"I have been singing ever since my childhood. It comes naturally to me. But composing is more of a challenge. It's like a song which becomes like a creation, like your baby. And if people love it, there is no happiness which can surpass that feeling because it's your song which becomes a star. The singer does not really matter, it is song which should really do well," she said.

Kashyap, who draws her inspiration from veteran singer Asha Bhosle, recently stepped into the world of Bollywood by composing and singing for three movies Waisa Bhi HotaHai, Mr ya Miss and Zinda and also set audiences grooving to the beats of her song Zinda HoonMein' said that she owed a lot to Sanjay Gupta and actor Sanjay Dutt for their unfailing support and belief in her abilities.

The singer s journey in Bollywood has just begun and she now is looking forward to working on two more films, as well as completing her new album.

"There are two more films coming up. One is 1971 and the other one is Dubai Returned . The next thing would of course be my new album which I will be beginning work on," she said.
