The LJP chief said leaders like Bal Thackeray and Raj Thackeray should be put behind the bars for trying to break the unity of the country.

He claimed there was hardly any difference between the Thackerays and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

While the Thackerays were dividing the country on the basis of regionalism, Nitish kumar was dividing the Dalit fraternity by creating a Mahadalit Commission, Paswan said.

The LJP president charged the state government with misusing the funds meant for uplift of the dalits and wanted to know why the NDA government had not set up a commission for suggesting measures to improve the lot of backward castes and sweeper community in the state.

The days of the Nitish Kumar government were numbered, he said.
