CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chouhan today dismissed Bharatiya Janshakti party president Uma Bharti’s allegations of conspiring to kill her by saying, “I haven’t killed even an ant in my life. How can I kill any human being?”

Talking to reporters here, On the violent clashes at Bara Malehra and the BJ holding the State Government responsible for the incident, he said the law would take its own course and the government was neither implicating nor saving any body.

Chouhan expressed confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party would win the both seats. Counting for the seats is scheduled for Thursday. Chouhan also announced that 50 per cent reservation would be provided to women in civic bodies in the State.

The State Government would soon come up with a bill in this regard, he said adding that although Parliament has so far not been able to pass bill concerning the 33 per cent reservation for women, in Madhya Pradesh reservation for women would become a reality. Women could run the civic bodies better than men, he felt.
