'Shoba Yatra' marks Janmashtami celebrations

Non-migrant Kashmiri Hindus on Saturday took out 'Shoba Yatra' as part of 'Janmashtami' celebrations in interior city.

The yatra started from Sri Kathleshwar Mandir at Dadikadal-Habbakadal.

Senior separatist leader Shabir Ahmed Shah visited the temple and greeted Hindu brethren. The festivities will continue for three days.

The devotees will observe a fast till midnight tomorrow and the day would be dedicated for singing of bhajans.
