Socialites from Delhi and Mumbai are all set to treat us to some shopping savoir-faire with their individual lifestyle exhibitions. Mana Shetty, wife of actor Sunil Shetty, and Timsy Anand have their exhibitions at Delhi in September.

However, the two events are scheduled for the same day, i.e., September 1, at different venues. Shetty’s exhibition ‘Araaish’ will be held at The Grand and Anand’s lifestyle exhibition ‘Jalsa’ at The Ashok. So is this date clash getting the hosts worried?

“I’m confident things will go well,” says Shetty, who is bringing the 11th edition of Araaish for the first time to Delhi. Anand is equally sure the date shouldn’t be a problem. She says, “Both the exhibitions are cause-driven and should do well.”

Both the exhibitions are fundraisers. The proceeds from Shetty’s exhibition go to the Mumbai-based NGO, Save The Children India Foundation, that was started by her late mother. The foundation also runs a school for mentally-challenged children. Jalsa’s proceeds will go to Meri Koshish, a Dehradun-based NGO that looks after the education and training of women and children. “We have more than 100 stalls, There will be good offers and discounts too,” says Anand.
