HOSTS SICA School and St Raphael’s won their respective matches in the girls under-19 categories to advance to the second round of the interschool table tennis tournament organised by South Indian Cultural Association Senior Secondary School under the banner of Sahodaya group today.
Host Sica beat New Digamber Public School by 3-0. In the second match St Raphael’s defeated Central India Academy Dewas by 3-0 to advance to the second round.

In the boys’ under-16 category, Columbia Convent defeated Central India Academy by 3-0, while New Digamber Public School (A) beat Choithram International School by 3-2 and Choithram North Campus by 3-2 in a thrilling match.
In the boys’ under-19 category, St Arnold’s beat Vidyasagar by 3-1, while Choithram International School beat Advance Academy by 3-2.
In the girls’ under-16 category, Columbia Convent beat New Digamber Public School by 3-1 to advance in the tournament. All the finals will be played tomorrow. MP Table Tennis Association secretary Om Soni will distribute the prizes to winners.

SANJAY LUNAWAT and Kanwaljeet Khanuja were elected president and secretary of Khanuja Cricket Club in the recently concluded annual general body meeting.
The patrons are Sajjan Singh Verma, Yogesh Jagdale, J S Anand and Indrajit Singh Chawla. Indrajit Singh Hir, Dinesh Patel, Naresh Punjabi and Raju Chandwani were elected as co-coordinators.
Raju Gholop, Sunil Dudhale, Narendra Rathore and Kailash Agarwal were elected as vice presidents. Paramjit Singh Khanuja,
Rajesh Walecha, Siman Suvir and Samunder Singh Chouhan were elected as joint secretaries.
Kapil Shindge and Raghuveer Singh Sodi are general secretaries while Sheikh Sadique and Jitendra Diyalani are treasurers.
