Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu joined the election fray on Thursday, filing his nomination as a BJP candidate for the Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab.
Accompanied by several BJP and Akali Dal leaders, Sidhu filed his papers before the returning officer.
